We had these guys move a fridge, bed and adjustable mattress along with a washer and dryer. The first issue was them scooting the fridge all over my wood floor and scratching it to get out the front door. Next issue was gouging out the wall just trying to get the refrigerator out of the kitchen because they did not take the doors off, so I took the doors off the fridge. Last issue was them putting several dents into my refrigerator because they hit several walls getting out.They sent 3 kids around 18-20 years of age, I had to lend my own tools to them and also a ratchet strap. What kind of moving company doesn't protect a wood floor, or have their own tools to remove a refrigerator door? I had to bring tarps and blankets to protect the rest of the floor after seeing the initial damage. I am baffled how this company has a 4.9 stars on Google. Still never did get my ratchet strap back.

I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Moving Mountains Moving Services. Winston has such an amazing group of young men working with him. We hired them to move our house full of stuff of 25+ years from Washington IL to Webb AL. Let me just say, those guys can pack a truck! They were amazingly fast and so careful with our belongings. They filled every square inch of the truck. I didn’t catch everyone’s name that day as I was so frazzled but I thank each and every one of them. The manners and kindness displayed helped calm my anxiety. And to Paydon Lenz and AJ Reinders for delivering and unloading the truck, bless you both. You were amazing! Overall an amazing experience and well worth it! Pricing for the move was in line with all the other quotes, but the customer service was above and beyond.

Aidan and the team did a phenomenal job moving us from Washington to Hanna City. They took care of all of our belongings and were so incredibly respectful. They worked hard the entire time and were great to work with. We even had a very large and heavy gun safe that they moved from a basement without damaging any of the walls. I cannot recommend them enough and will definitely use them again in the future. I recommend them to all of our friends and family!

Aidan and Ottie did a walk through of my previous home with curiosity, asking questions to enable an accurate quote. It was the concierge aspect that really sold me on their service. On moving day the team was respectful, timely and ready with creative solutions. The team got my things loaded while I cleaned the house. Moving into my new home, the team was incredibly considerate. I sat on a stool in the garage while they showed me each box and I told them where to put it. We had a lot of fun and I got to know them during that time. Aidan, Preston, Zane & Carson did excellent work with courtesy. After all the boxes were in, Aidan and Preston stayed to put together my girls’ bunk bed. It would have taken me three months to get that thing put together and they did it in a day. Reasonably priced, respectful and experts in their field. You won’t regret hiring Moving Mountains.

After getting some details on the size/weight of the vanity he gave me a quote and date they could move it for me.Two business days later two young men showed up at the scheduled time, put on lifting straps and just like that, they moved it up 14 steps around a tight corner into our bathroom.They were extremely careful of this new painted white vanity.I could not have been happier with this service!If you need help for a small move or a large move, you should consider them.

I scheduled an appointment for an estimate. They never showed up. After waiting 30 minutes, I called the number on the confirmation email and it went straight to voicemail. I left a message to have them call me to see if there was an issue and see if we should reschedule. They never returned my call. It has been more than 24 hours since I left a message so I have given up on getting a return call. I have moved on to another company. I know the move was a longer move than they normally do. If they didn't feel comfortable, I would have preferred they were upfront about it.

The actual movers were great! Spent all day moving us in frigid temperatures just days before Christmas with no complaints. Here’s the problem that led me to drop to 4 stars: We have hundreds of pounds of free weights, so my husband specifically asked the owner/estimator if they had a pallet jack. His answer was yes. My husband spent hours leading up to the move putting all of the weights on a pallet with the intent to plastic wrap it and move it into the truck with the jack. Despite a lot of planning and preparation on our part, we learned after the movers arrived that they, in fact, do not have a pallet jack. The weights had to then be moved one at a time onto the truck, “wasting” a significant amount of time, which we had to pay for. Unfortunately, due to that, we didn’t get our whole house moved in one day as we had hoped and planned for.

The two movers did a good job given the circumstances they were given by their company. When I talked with the estimator for our job, I requested they use a smaller truck so as to get up my very steep driveway and to minimize distance of carrying very heavy woodworking tools. The amount actually moved was minimal, but extremely heavy and awkward. They arrived with a very large moving van which could not be backed into my driveway. Not only did the movers have to carry several hundred pound items down a steep drive, they had to walk back up each time as well. This added significant time to the move at my cost as well as stress on these young men. When they arrived at my new shop, the truck was too large to navigate the drive, leaving multiple tire ruts in my lawn and breaking up portions of my new asphalt drive. I received a follow up call after the move from the owner, and I shared my concerns with him directly. He assured me he would have the estimator follow up with me, but after 6 weeks I never received further communication. As you can tell, I am not pleased with my move.

Moving Mountains helped me out of a bind on very short notice. I had a new sofa dropped off and left in my garage, and I was responsible for figuring out how to get it into the house. The lady where I had ordered it from, upon finding out that we have a 32" x 80" doorway, had said that I would probably have to have a furniture technician split the sofa in sections in the garage and take it in piece by piece. Well, Moving Mountains sent 2 courteous and hard-working young men out and they had the couch inside within 10 minutes. They did have to take the front door off it's hinges, but they did so without batting an eye. They also carried our heavy old 2 recliner sofa out to the garage to be picked up by a junk service the next day. The guys couldn't have been better. Thank you very much for being such a terrific company!
